Starting the Day at Broken Coffee

Iced matcha and vanilla latte served at Broken Coffee, a local coffee shop in Las Vegas.

With several locations across the Las Vegas Valley, Broken Coffee has quietly built a reputation as a reliable go-to for quality drinks and a laid-back atmosphere.

On a recent morning, we stopped by for our coffee and eased into the day—and it ended up being exactly the kind of local coffee shop experience we were looking for.

Whether you’re heading to work, meeting a friend, or need a moment to yourself before the day starts moving too fast, Broken Coffee fits effortlessly into that routine.

First Impressions: Simple, Modern, and Comfortable

Walking into Broken Coffee, the first thing that stood out was the clean, modern design. The space feels intentional without being overdone—simple décor, neutral tones, and just enough warmth to make you want to stay awhile.

It’s the kind of place where you can sit down with your drink and actually enjoy it, not rush out the door unless you want to.

There are tables available for anyone who wants to hang out, work, or catch up with someone, but the layout also works well for grab-and-go customers. It strikes a nice balance between functional and inviting.

What We Ordered: A Perfect Morning Pairing

For our visit, we kept things classic but satisfying. We ordered a vanilla latte, an iced matcha, and a blueberry scone to share.

The vanilla latte was smooth and comforting, with just the right amount of sweetness—not overpowering, and not lost in the espresso. It’s the kind of drink you could easily order again and again without getting tired of it.

The iced matcha was refreshing and well-balanced, avoiding that overly grassy taste that sometimes comes with matcha drinks. It felt especially nice for a warm Vegas morning and paired perfectly with the pastry.

What we ordered at Broken Coffee included an iced matcha, a vanilla latte, and a blueberry scone.

And the blueberry scone? Soft, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. It didn’t feel dry or overly dense, and the blueberries added just enough sweetness without stealing the show. It was the kind of pastry that makes you wish you had ordered a second one “just in case.”

What stood out most during our visit was how unpretentious everything felt. Broken Coffee doesn’t try to rush the experience or overcomplicate it. From the drinks to the atmosphere, it feels thoughtfully put together, letting you enjoy your morning at your own pace.

A Space That Works for Any Coffee Run

One of the things we appreciated most about Broken Coffee was how versatile the space felt. You can sit down and relax, meet someone for a casual coffee date, or stop in quickly on your way somewhere else.

If you’re short on time, Broken Coffee also offers pickup and delivery options, making it easy to grab your favorite drink without slowing down your schedule. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a big difference for busy mornings.

A Neighborhood Coffee Shop Feel

Even with multiple locations around the valley, Broken Coffee still feels very much like a neighborhood coffee shop. It’s easy to see why locals make it part of their routine.

The atmosphere is calm, the drinks are consistently good, and the space feels welcoming without trying too hard.
