Some places feel like they were designed for a quick lunch. Others feel like they were designed for people who actually care about what they’re eating. Golden Boy Market & Deli sits comfortably in that second category.
Tucked into a clean, sunlit corner of a Las Vegas shopping plaza, Golden Boy blends the feel of a modern neighborhood café with the soul of a classic deli. The space is bright and airy, with soft leather booths, warm wood tones, and shelves lined with specialty goods that make it feel part market, part sandwich shop, and part hangout spot.
It’s the kind of place where you walk in expecting a simple sandwich and end up spending a little extra time looking around. Between the olive oils, imported pastas, jars of sauces, and racks of Golden Boy merch, the space feels curated but relaxed.
A Modern Deli With a Neighborhood Feel
Golden Boy manages to balance two things at once. It feels polished without feeling pretentious. The interior is filled with natural light, simple tables, and a long booth that runs along one wall, giving the whole room a calm, comfortable energy.
Green pendant lights hang above the tables, plants are tucked into arched wall niches, and shelves of cookbooks and pantry goods line the room. The open kitchen sits toward the back, where you can watch sandwiches being assembled while the front tables fill with people grabbing lunch or catching up over coffee.
Even the market section feels intentional. Bottles of Graza olive oil, imported Italian pasta, Sicilian sodas, and house-branded hats are displayed neatly near the entrance, turning the deli into a small specialty grocery at the same time.
“Golden Boy feels like one of those places that could easily exist in a bigger food city. It has that modern deli vibe where everything feels thoughtful, from the ingredients to the way the room is designed.”
Sandwiches Done the Right Way
The menu at Golden Boy focuses on one thing above all else: great sandwiches built with good ingredients. The lineup is simple but thoughtful, leaning into classic deli ideas while adding small twists that make each one stand out.

Some of the highlights from the sandwich menu include:
- The Deli – salami, mortadella, Parisian ham, cheddar, tomato, onion, pickled peppers, shredduce, and kewpie mayo
- The Turkey – bacon, cheddar, tomato, onion, shredduce, and kewpie mayo
- The Caprese – stracciatella, basil pesto, tomato, arugula, and pomegranate molasses
- The Tuna – pepperoncini aioli, cheddar, celery, onion, pickles, and sprouts
- The Veggie – harissa beets, cucumber, roasted pepper, hummus, and sprouts
- Muffuletta – mayo, salami, mortadella, calabrese, stracciatella, olive relish, finished with Graza olive oil
Every sandwich is served on a 10-inch baguette with the option to add chips on the side. The combinations lean bold but balanced, focusing on textures and layers rather than overloading the sandwich with too many ingredients.
The Sandwiches We Ordered
We kept things simple and ordered two sandwiches to split between the table.
The first was the Chicken Caesar Sando. It’s built with chicken, Caesar dressing, chili crisp, shredduce, and shaved parmesan. At first glance it sounds like a Caesar salad turned into a sandwich, but the chili crisp adds a subtle kick that wakes everything up.

The chicken stays juicy, the lettuce keeps things crisp, and the parmesan adds a salty bite that ties the whole thing together.
“The chili crisp in the chicken sandwich is the move. It takes something familiar like a Caesar and gives it just enough heat and crunch to make it feel new.”
The second sandwich was The Beef, layered with roast beef, au poivre aioli, cheddar, pickled onions, and potato sticks.

This one leans richer and a little more indulgent. The au poivre aioli adds a peppery depth, the cheddar brings a sharp bite, and the potato sticks give the sandwich a satisfying crunch that you don’t expect but immediately appreciate.
It’s messy in the best possible way, with flavors that feel bold but still balanced.
“The Beef sandwich hits that perfect deli balance. It’s salty, crunchy, creamy, and rich all at once without feeling too heavy.”
Sides Worth Sharing
Alongside the sandwiches we grabbed the couscous salad to share. It’s light, bright, and packed with texture, with tomatoes, herbs, and vegetables mixed into soft pearl couscous.
It works perfectly as a contrast to the sandwiches, bringing a fresh, slightly tangy bite between heavier bites of bread and meat.

We also grabbed a bag of honey dijon Kettle chips, which honestly might be the perfect deli chip. Sweet, tangy, crunchy, and exactly what you want next to a sandwich.
The menu also includes a handful of other sides if you want to round out the meal:
- Potato Salad
- Tuna Salad
- House Pickles
- Chips
- GB Chili Crisp
Salads for a Lighter Option
If you’re not in the mood for a full sandwich, Golden Boy also has a solid lineup of salads that follow the same ingredient-first philosophy as the rest of the menu.

Some standouts include:
- Deli Salad – mixed greens, tomato, red onion, salami, ricotta salata, and balsamic dressing
- Caesar Salad – romaine, chili crisp, Caesar dressing, parmesan, and breadcrumbs
- Greek Salad – mixed greens, olives, tomato, red onion, cucumber, feta, and pom molasses vinaigrette
- Honey Nut Salad – greens, apples, roasted artichoke, walnuts, blue cheese, and walnut dressing
- Mandarin Ginger Salad – cabbage, shredded cucumber, mandarin, peanuts, wonton chips, and peanut dressing
The variety makes it easy to mix and match if you’re ordering with a group.
Drinks and Coffee
We kept it simple and stuck with water, but Golden Boy has a surprisingly solid drink lineup if you want something more.
The café side offers coffee options like:
- Drip Coffee
- Cold Brew
- Nitro Cold Brew
There are also classic deli-style bottled drinks available:
- Topo Chico
- Mexican Coke
- Jarritos
- Siciliana Soda
- Iced Tea
- Hot Tea
- Diet Coke
It’s a lineup that works whether you’re grabbing lunch, stopping by for a coffee, or just hanging out for a bit.
A Deli That Feels Built for the Neighborhood
Golden Boy Market & Deli feels like one of those places Las Vegas needs more of. It’s casual without being forgettable, simple without being boring, and focused on good ingredients without making a big deal about it.

You come for a sandwich, but the space encourages you to slow down a little. Maybe you browse the shelves, maybe you grab a bottle of olive oil or a bag of imported pasta on your way out.
Either way, it feels like a neighborhood spot that people will keep coming back to, not because it’s trendy, but because it quietly does everything right.
“Golden Boy is the kind of deli you hope ends up near your house. Great sandwiches, a relaxed vibe, and just enough market goods to make every visit a little different.”
