Milk Bread LV: A Nature-Lit Filipino Bakery Find in Chinatown

Last Friday, on my way to the office, I had a very specific mission: pick up sweets for Yahor’s birthday. And not just any sweets—something with a little personality. Since we all know he’s into Asian-fusion flavors, we started hunting for something unique, and that’s when we remembered the buzz: a new Filipino bakery had opened next to 168 Market, just behind Fuku Burger and around the corner from spots like Hobak and Gabi’s Cafe.

So we did what we always do in Vegas when we hear “new local spot”: we went to check it out.

That’s how we found ourselves walking into Milk Bread LV—and honestly, it felt like we had discovered the next little neighborhood favorite.

A New Kind of Sweet Stop in a Changing Plaza

The whole plaza is clearly in the middle of a shift. New businesses are opening up, more people are coming through, and the energy feels different than it did even a year ago.

There’s more movement, more traffic, and more reasons to actually park and explore instead of just passing by.

From the outside, Milk Bread LV doesn’t scream for attention. At first glance, it’s easy to assume it’s just another storefront in the lineup.

But once you step inside, you immediately get that feeling: this place is doing something a little different.

The Space Feels Calm, Bright, and “Nature-ly”

The décor is lovely—minimal in the best way. Natural light pours in and hits warm wood tones, simple plants, and soft colors that make the whole room feel airy and calm.

It has that “I could actually sit here for a minute” kind of vibe, even if you only came in to grab pastries and run.

It’s clean, modern, and quietly cozy—like a bakery designed for people who appreciate the little details, without needing anything over-the-top.

What We Tried at Milk Bread LV

Milk Bread LV offers a variety of pastries and cakes, from freshly baked breads that are cut and ready to go, to more playful dessert flavors that pull in Filipino staples and modern café-style creativity.

The Pastries That Sold Us

We went a little wild (birthday rules). We grabbed a couple of green tea cheesecakes, an ube cake, a few danishes, and a bag of cheese rolls—plus coffee, because pastries without coffee feels illegal.

Matcha Green Tea Cheesecake

Rich, smooth, and balanced. The matcha flavor came through clearly without being too bitter, and the texture felt dense in the best way—the kind of cheesecake you take small bites of because you don’t want it to end too fast.

Ube Cake

If you love ube, you’ll be happy here. The ube cake had that signature sweet-earthy flavor and a softness that made it feel light, even though it’s definitely a treat. It’s the kind of dessert you bring back to the office and immediately watch people ask, “Okay… where did you get that?”

Cheese Rolls and Danishes

The cheese rolls were the surprise hit—soft, slightly sweet, and super snackable. The danishes were flaky and satisfying, perfect for sharing (or not sharing… no judgment).

The Coffee Deserves Its Own Moment

Alongside the pastries, Milk Bread LV serves coffee brewed from Filipino coffee beans, and the aroma alone is worth the stop. It’s not as intense as Vietnamese or Thai coffee, but it holds its own. The flavor is smoother and more mellow—still bold enough to feel like “real coffee,” but easier to sip without that heavy punch.

The barista was genuinely kind and took a moment to explain some of their specialties and what makes their coffee different, which made the whole experience feel even more welcoming.

Why Milk Bread LV Is Worth the Stop

Everything we tasted was delicious—and not in a “this is fine” way. In a “we should come back and try the rest of the case” way.

Milk Bread LV feels like it’s quickly becoming a go-to spot for Filipino pastries and thoughtfully made sweets in the Chinatown area.

So if you’re around 168 Market, or grabbing a burger at Fuku, or meeting someone nearby for Korean BBQ, take the extra few minutes and try something new. It’s fun, it’s unique, and every visit helps our local Vegas food community grow one small business at a time.
