While Las Vegas is filled with coffee shops, it’s not every day that you stumble across a café that feels like it was inspired by a completely different part of the world. That’s exactly what the Everyday Vegas team found during a recent visit to Torino Cafe in Henderson.
Tucked into a neighborhood shopping center near Eastern Avenue and Sunridge Heights Parkway, Torino Cafe stands out before you even walk through the door. Bright yellow patio umbrellas sit outside beneath the Nevada sun, creating a welcoming first impression that feels more European than suburban Las Vegas.
The café takes its name from Turin, Italy, and the influence is visible throughout the space. From the framed artwork depicting scenes from Turin to the menu filled with Italian coffee drinks, panini, pastries, and desserts, it’s clear the concept was built around bringing a little piece of northern Italy to Henderson.
On a recent afternoon visit with my fiancée, we stopped in to see what Torino Cafe was all about. What we found was a comfortable café that feels equally suited for a quick coffee, a casual lunch, or spending an hour relaxing with friends.
A Bright and Comfortable Space
Walking inside, the first thing that stands out is how open the café feels. Large windows line one side of the dining room, filling the space with natural light throughout the day. The interior combines modern finishes with warm accents, creating an environment that feels both polished and comfortable.
Comfortable lounge chairs sit near the windows while traditional café tables fill the rest of the dining room. The setup makes the café feel versatile. Some guests were working on laptops, others were meeting friends, and a few simply appeared to be enjoying a quiet coffee break.
Behind the counter, glass cases display an assortment of pastries and desserts. Croissants, pain au chocolat, cannoli, cinnamon rolls, and cakes tempt visitors before they even have a chance to look at the menu.
The overall atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Rather than feeling rushed, Torino Cafe encourages guests to slow down and enjoy their visit.
An Italian-Inspired Menu
The menu extends well beyond coffee. Alongside traditional espresso drinks, Torino Cafe serves a selection of Italian-inspired sandwiches, salads, pastries, desserts, specialty coffees, and imported beverages.
Several drinks pay tribute to Italian coffee traditions, including specialty creations featuring pistachio, Nutella, Biscoff, and other flavors. For visitors unfamiliar with Italian café culture, the menu also introduces drinks that aren’t commonly found elsewhere in the valley.
The food menu focuses heavily on panini and lighter lunch options, making it easy to stop in for a midday meal without committing to a large restaurant experience.
Lunch at Torino Cafe
For lunch, I ordered the Cotto e Formaggio, served on Italian bread with a side salad.
The sandwich combines ham, Swiss cheese, cetriolini, and mayo. It sounds relatively simple on paper, but the quality of the bread helps elevate the entire dish. The exterior had a light crispness while the inside remained soft and airy, creating a satisfying texture with every bite.

The sandwich also came with several small pickles on the side. It was a small addition, but one that complemented the sandwich well and added a little extra flavor to the plate.
“Sometimes the simplest sandwiches are the best ones.
This wasn’t trying to reinvent anything. It was just a really solid lunch.”
The accompanying side salad added freshness without distracting from the main attraction. Overall, it was a balanced lunch that felt substantial without being overly heavy.
An Excellent Iced Pistachio Latte
To drink, I ordered the Iced Pistachio Latte.
Pistachio has become an increasingly popular flavor in coffee shops, but Torino Cafe’s version managed to stand out. The nutty pistachio flavor blended naturally with the espresso rather than overwhelming it, creating a drink that was both refreshing and flavorful.

The presentation didn’t hurt either. Topped with whipped cream and crushed pistachio pieces, it looked almost like a dessert while still delivering the coffee kick expected from a latte.
On a hot Henderson afternoon, it was exactly the type of drink you’d want sitting beside you while enjoying lunch.
Avocado Toast with an Italian Twist
My fiancée ordered the Avocados Toast Piemontese, another menu item that reflects the café’s Italian influence.
Served on Italian bread with a side salad, the dish featured smashed avocado, roasted tomatoes, and shaved eggs. While avocado toast is hardly a rare menu item these days, Torino Cafe’s version felt elevated through quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation.

The roasted tomatoes added sweetness and depth while the shaved eggs contributed additional texture and richness.
Visually, it was one of the most attractive dishes we saw during our visit, arriving at the table with vibrant colors that immediately caught attention.
“It was fresh, light, and surprisingly filling.
I’d order it again without hesitation.”
A Signature Drink Rooted in Italian History
Alongside her toast, my fiancée ordered the café’s signature Bicerin.
For those unfamiliar with the drink, Bicerin originated in Turin and traditionally combines espresso, chocolate, and cream in distinct layers. Torino Cafe’s version stays true to that inspiration, delivering a rich drink that feels part coffee and part dessert.

The layers create different flavors as you sip, moving from chocolate sweetness into stronger espresso notes before finishing with whipped cream.
It’s the kind of drink that immediately stands out on the menu because it offers something different from the standard latte or cappuccino.
For anyone visiting Torino Cafe for the first time, the Bicerin is worth considering simply because it’s not something you’ll find at most coffee shops around Las Vegas.
Pastries, Cakes, and Sweet Temptations
Even if you arrive only intending to grab a coffee, the pastry and dessert displays make it difficult to leave without considering something sweet.
The pastry case features classic Italian and European-inspired offerings including croissants, chocolate pastries, cannoli, and specialty baked goods.
Nearby dessert displays showcase cakes, tarts, cheesecakes, and other treats that add another layer to the café experience.
It’s easy to imagine stopping by solely for dessert and coffee in the afternoon.
The visual presentation of the bakery items also contributes to the overall experience. Everything appears carefully arranged, creating the feeling of a neighborhood European café rather than a typical grab-and-go coffee shop.
A Growing Henderson Gem
Henderson has seen significant growth in its local food and beverage scene over the past several years. While major chains remain plentiful, independent cafés continue carving out their own identities throughout the city.
Torino Cafe succeeds because it doesn’t feel like it’s trying to copy anyone else. Instead, it leans into its Italian inspiration and creates a unique experience around it.
The comfortable dining room, specialty coffee menu, fresh lunch options, and impressive selection of pastries all work together to create a place that encourages repeat visits.
Whether you’re stopping in for an espresso, meeting friends for lunch, working remotely for an hour, or simply looking for a quieter alternative to larger coffee chains, Torino Cafe delivers an experience that feels distinct within the Henderson dining scene.
As we finished our drinks and prepared to leave, the café continued filling with a steady stream of customers grabbing coffee, pastries, and lunch. It wasn’t difficult to understand why.
Torino Cafe offers something that can sometimes be hard to find in Las Vegas: a place where the atmosphere is just as enjoyable as the food and drinks.
