THE SUMMERLIN PATRIOTIC PARADE
One of the largest Independence Day celebrations in Southern Nevada, the Summerlin Patriotic Parade brings together giant balloons, colorful floats, performers, music, and thousands of spectators lining the route.
For many local families, attending the parade has become an annual tradition and one of the best ways to start the holiday. If you’re bringing kids, it’s also just a short drive from The Hills Park, one of Summerlin’s most popular neighborhood parks.

FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION AT LEE CANYON
If spending Independence Day in triple-digit temperatures doesn’t sound appealing, Lee Canyon offers one of the most unique Fourth of July celebrations in Southern Nevada.
Live music, food and drink specials, lawn games, family activities, and cooler mountain temperatures make it a completely different experience than the valley below.

4TH OF JULY 5K & 10K RUN
Kick off Independence Day with a patriotic run at James Regional Sports Park. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply looking for a fun way to start the holiday, this event offers both 5K and 10K distances for runners and walkers of all experience levels.
The festive atmosphere, patriotic spirit, and finisher medals make it one of the most unique ways to begin the Fourth before heading off to parades, family gatherings, and fireworks later in the day. After the race, grab a meal nearby at Ton Ton Katsuya, one of our favorite spots in the area.

4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION AT HERITAGE PARK
Heritage Park’s annual Fourth of July celebration combines live entertainment, activities for kids, food vendors, and one of Henderson’s most popular fireworks displays.
The event offers plenty to do before the fireworks begin, making it easy to spend the entire evening there with family and friends. If you’re already in the area, the Clark County Museum is just a short drive away and makes for a great stop earlier in the day.

BLAST OFF IN THE BASIN
Buckskin Basin Park hosts this Summerlin-area celebration featuring food trucks, a live DJ, family activities, and a fireworks show.
The neighborhood atmosphere makes it feel a little more local while still delivering a full Fourth of July experience. Before heading over, consider stopping by Las Vegas Brewing Company, which is located nearby.

Watch fireworks from the Bel-Aire Backyard lawn while enjoying music, drinks, and summer vibes at Durango Casino & Resort.
The ticketed event offers a more comfortable viewing experience than many public celebrations and has quickly become one of the valley’s favorite viewing parties. If you’re making an evening of it, Summer House is located right inside Durango and makes a great pre-fireworks dinner option.

Red Rock’s annual fireworks display has become one of the most popular Fourth of July traditions in Las Vegas.
Expect family activities, entertainment, and a large-scale fireworks show visible throughout much of Summerlin. If you’re planning to arrive early, 8 Noodle Bar inside Red Rock Resort is one of our favorite places to grab a meal before the festivities begin.

It’s one of the better options for those wanting a resort atmosphere while still enjoying the fireworks. The nearby Flower Child location in The District at Green Valley Ranch is another great option if you’re looking for a meal before the show.
