Town Scary at Town Square Las Vegas returns on October 31st, 2026 for a free family Halloween celebration with trick-or-treating, music, games and costume fun. The event runs from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM along Main Street at Town Square.
The event offers a street-safe alternative to neighborhood trick-or-treating, with participating Town Square businesses handing out candy while families move through the outdoor shopping and dining district.
Trick-or-Treat Along Main Street
Children can trick-or-treat at participating Town Square businesses during the three-hour event. Families should bring their own trick-or-treat bag or basket, and candy is available while supplies last.
Candy distribution ends at 7:00 PM, so arriving earlier gives families more time to visit participating stops before the event wraps up.
Music and Halloween Games
Town Scary includes music, games and additional Halloween activities throughout Main Street. Radio station 98.5 is scheduled to be part of the entertainment, creating a lively backdrop while families move between trick-or-treat stops.
The event is designed for families and children rather than as a haunted attraction, making it a good option for younger kids who want Halloween fun without intense scares.
Children’s Costume Contests
Children can also participate in a series of costume contests during the event. Signups begin at 4:00 PM near the stage, with multiple contests scheduled throughout the afternoon and early evening.
Contest space is limited and handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so families interested in participating should arrive early.
Make an Afternoon of Town Square
Town Square has restaurants, dessert shops, entertainment and open-air spaces within walking distance of the Halloween activities. Families who enjoy free community programming at the property can also check out Miss Fairy G Kid’s Show at Town Square, another family-focused event held at the center during October.
Parking at Town Square
Parking is free throughout Town Square Las Vegas, with surface lots and parking structures available around the property. Halloween afternoon can be busy, so allowing extra time to park and walk to Main Street is recommended.
Tickets and Registration
Town Scary is free and open to the public. No general admission ticket is required. Families should bring their own bag or basket for trick-or-treating, and candy is available while supplies last.
