Al Abgrab and Moshiko Ozana are the proud owners of BBV Powersports, a Motorcycle Dealership in Las Vegas.
As military veterans, Al and Moshiko share a deep passion for their community—especially for fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.
Al served as an Airborne Combat Medic in the U.S. Army, while Moshiko was a Paratrooper and Medic in the IDF (Israel Defense Force).
Together, they have built BBV Powersports into a hub for riders, community gatherings, and charitable initiatives.
We sat down with Al and Moshiko to learn more about their journey, their commitment to Las Vegas, and the community-driven values that fuel their work.

Background and Military Experience
Q: Al, Moshiko, can you tell us a little about your military background and how your experiences shaped who you are today?
Al: I served in the U.S. Army, where discipline, teamwork, and resilience were instilled in me.
Those values carried over into how I approach challenges and build relationships at BBV Powersports.
Moshiko: My time in the IDF as a Paratrooper and Medic taught me to think quickly and work under pressure.
It also gave me a sense of purpose, which I bring into everything we do for the community.

The Birth of BBV Powersports
Q: How did the idea for BBV Powersports come about?
Moshiko: We both love motorcycles and saw a need for a community-driven powersports shop in Las Vegas.
It started as a dream to bring riders together and support the local Las Vegas community.
Al: The idea was born out of passion, but it’s also about creating a place where riders can trust the service they’re getting.

The Passion for Powersports
Q: What drew you both to powersports specifically? Is there something about motorcycles that speaks to your values of adventure and community?
Al: Motorcycles are about freedom and connection. They bring people together in a unique way, and that aligns perfectly with our values.
Moshiko: Riding has always been a passion of mine. Sharing that passion with others and creating a space where riders can connect is fulfilling.

Roles at BBV Powersports
Q: Moshiko, as the operations manager, what does a typical day look like for you?
Moshiko: Every day is different. I handle everything from customer service to planning events and ensuring the team has what they need to succeed.
It’s rewarding to see the shop buzzing with activity.
Q: Al, can you share a bit about your role in running the service department? What drives your passion for this work?
Al: I oversee the repairs and maintenance side.
My passion comes from knowing we’re keeping people safe on the road while delivering the best riding experience possible, all at a price that respects the rider’s budget.
We pride ourselves on offering OEM-level quality repairs with the personal touch and affordability of a local shop. We charge significantly less than OEM-certified shops.

Community Engagement
Q: BBV Powersports has become known for its community involvement—can you tell us about the kinds of events and charity drives you’ve organized?
Moshiko: We’ve hosted everything from group rides to charity events like toy drives and fundraisers for veterans.
It’s our way of giving back to a community that’s supported us.
Al: We also partner with local organizations to make these events impactful. Seeing the smiles and camaraderie makes it all worth it.
Toy Drives and Local Support
Q: We heard about your annual toy drives. Can you tell us how that tradition began and why it’s so meaningful to you?
Moshiko: It started with a simple idea—bringing joy to kids during the holidays.
We gathered with the amazing Sneed Family from The Lucky Little Chapel, and now, it’s a tradition that the whole community looks forward to.
Al: It’s meaningful because it reminds us of the good we can do when we come together. The generosity of our customers and friends is incredible.

Helping Veterans in the Community
Q: As veterans, do you feel a special bond with other veterans in the Las Vegas area?
Moshiko: Absolutely. There’s an unspoken understanding between veterans, and we’re proud to provide a space where they feel welcome and supported.
Al: We’ve also hired veterans and work with veteran organizations to ensure we’re giving back to those who’ve served.
The Future of BBV Powersports
Q: What are your dreams for BBV Powersports in the coming years?
Moshiko: We want to expand our events and community outreach while continuing to provide top-notch service.
Al: I’d love to see us become a go-to destination for riders across the region, not just for repairs but for camaraderie.

Words of Inspiration
Q: What advice do you have for young entrepreneurs who want to start a community-focused business in Las Vegas?
Al: Stay true to your values and put the community first. When you give back, the support will come naturally.
Moshiko: Be persistent and surround yourself with people who share your vision. Building something meaningful takes time, but it’s worth it.
Leaving the Door Open for Opportunities
Q: Is there anything else you’d like our readers to know about BBV Powersports or your journey?
Moshiko: Just that we’re grateful to this community. It’s because of them that we’re here and thriving.
Al: And we’re always looking for ways to grow and serve—if you have ideas or want to get involved, reach out to us.
Q: How can the Las Vegas community get involved or stay connected with BBV Powersports?
Al: Follow us on social media and join us for our events. We’re always posting updates and ways to get involved.
