Tunnel of Terror at Tommy’s Express turns a North Las Vegas car wash into a drive-through Halloween attraction on select nights from October 16th through October 30th, 2026. The haunted car wash runs from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at the Tommy’s Express location on West Ann Road.
Instead of walking through a traditional haunted house, guests stay inside their vehicle while moving through the wash tunnel. Costumed team members, spooky music, lighting effects and jump scares transform an ordinary car wash into a short Halloween experience that also leaves the vehicle clean.

A Haunted Car Wash Experience
The main attraction takes place inside the Tommy’s Express wash tunnel. During Tunnel of Terror, the conveyor is slowed to its lowest speed so guests can experience approximately three minutes of scares while remaining inside their vehicle.
Visitors can expect dressed-up team members, Halloween music and surprise scares throughout the tunnel. Some of the experience can also begin while vehicles are waiting to enter, so the attraction may start before the actual wash begins.
Is Tunnel of Terror Family-Friendly?
Tommy’s Express describes Tunnel of Terror as a Halloween experience that may not be appropriate for young children or anyone who scares easily. Jump scares, costumed characters and spooky music are part of the attraction.
There is no published minimum age for the North Las Vegas event, so parents should use their own judgment based on how comfortable their children are with Halloween scares.
Stay in Your Vehicle
Guests experience Tunnel of Terror from inside their own vehicle. The North Las Vegas wash tunnel has an 84-inch height clearance and is listed as dually friendly and low-rider friendly.
Drivers should follow all instructions from Tommy’s Express employees when entering the conveyor and remain inside the vehicle throughout the wash.
What Happens to Regular Car Wash Service?
During the scheduled Tunnel of Terror hours, the participating location offers the haunted wash experience instead of a standard wash. TommyClub members who visit during those hours will also go through Tunnel of Terror rather than receiving a regular wash experience.
