Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana – A Taste of Naples in the Heart of Summerlin

Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana - Lunch with pizza, beer, and gnocci

Some places in Las Vegas become part of your routine long before they become part of your story. You pass by them countless times, recognize the name, maybe even step in once or twice—but it isn’t until you sit down with intention that the full experience clicks into place.

This past Monday, we finally gave Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana that moment. Located on the corner of Sahara and Fort Apache, right between familiar neighbors like Hanabi Sushi and Khoury’s, it sits in one of those plazas locals know like the back of their hand.

And yet, what waited inside felt anything but ordinary.

A Space That Sets the Tone

Walking into Settebello, the atmosphere immediately pulls you in. The industrial-style interior strikes a balance between casual and intentional—metal accents, warm wood tables, and an open layout that feels both lively and comfortable.

To the left, a bar invites you in for a quick drink or a lingering conversation. But the real centerpiece is impossible to miss—the wood-fired pizza oven, glowing at the heart of the restaurant. It’s more than just décor; it’s a statement of purpose.

This is a place that takes pizza seriously.

We settled in, and as part of our own little tradition, started things off with two Settebello Blonde draft beers. Light, refreshing, and easy to sip, they set the tone for what would turn into a well-paced and memorable lunch.

Rooted in Tradition

Settebello isn’t just another pizza spot—it’s part of a larger story that began in 2005, with a mission to bring true Pizza Napoletana to the United States. Inspired by Naples, Italy—the birthplace of pizza—the restaurant was built around authenticity.

That commitment is backed by certification from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN), a designation that ensures every pizza follows the traditional methods developed centuries ago. From the ingredients to the cooking process, everything is designed to honor that legacy.

It’s not just about making pizza—it’s about preserving a craft.

Starting Strong

Arancini

Deep-fried rice balls with cheese, peas, and beef

The meal kicked off with an order of Arancini, and it’s the kind of appetizer that immediately reminds you why Italian comfort food holds such universal appeal.

Crispy on the outside and rich on the inside, each bite delivered a perfect balance of texture and flavor. The filling—melty cheese, tender beef, and subtle sweetness from the peas—came together in a way that felt both hearty and refined.

Warm Beets Salad

Roasted beets with almonds and goat cheese

Next came the Warm Beets Salad, served on a hot plate and layered with thoughtful detail. Featuring two types of beets, the dish offered both earthy depth and natural sweetness.

The addition of goat cheese and almonds brought creaminess and crunch, creating a contrast that elevated the entire plate. It’s one of those dishes that feels simple at first glance but delivers complexity with every bite.

Main Course Moments

Pesto Gnocchi

For the main course, the Pesto Gnocchi brought a comforting, almost nostalgic element to the table. The gnocchi were soft and pillowy, coated in a pesto that was vibrant without being overpowering.

Each bite carried that fresh basil richness, balanced by a subtle nuttiness and just enough oil to keep everything smooth and cohesive. It’s the kind of dish that doesn’t try to do too much—and that’s exactly why it works so well.

Half & Half Pizza

Brie E Apricot

Brie, apricot marmalade, prosciutto crudo, mozzarella, basil, olio

The first half of the pizza leaned into a sweet-and-savory profile that felt unexpectedly harmonious. The apricot marmalade added a gentle sweetness that paired beautifully with the saltiness of the prosciutto.

Combined with creamy brie and melted mozzarella, the flavors layered effortlessly. It was rich without being heavy, and every bite offered something slightly different.

Pere E Jalapeño

House-made pear & jalapeño marmalade, calabrese, red onion, mozzarella, basil, olio

The second half brought a bit more edge. The pear and jalapeño marmalade introduced a sweet heat that played off the spice of the calabrese and the sharpness of red onion.

It was bold, slightly unexpected, and completely satisfying. Together, both halves of the pizza created a dynamic experience—two distinct personalities sharing the same perfectly baked crust.

And that crust? Lightly charred, soft in the center, and airy around the edges—the hallmark of true Neapolitan-style pizza.

When It All Comes Together

What stood out most wasn’t just the individual dishes—it was how everything worked together. The flavors, while different, complemented each other in a way that felt intentional.

It’s rare for a meal with such variety to feel this cohesive, but Settebello manages to strike that balance effortlessly.

Lunch vs. Dinner – A Different Energy

Having visited before during dinner, there’s a noticeable shift in the restaurant’s energy depending on the time of day.

Lunch feels relaxed and easygoing—a perfect setting for a casual meet-up or a midday reset. But as the evening rolls in, the space transforms. The lighting softens, the pace slows, and the entire vibe leans more toward a date-night destination.

It’s not better or worse—just different. And that versatility is part of what makes Settebello stand out.

A Plaza Full of Flavor

Located among a lineup of strong local favorites like Chicago Brewing Company, Buldogis, and Archi’s Thai Kitchen, Settebello holds its own in a plaza packed with options.

It doesn’t try to compete loudly—it simply delivers quality, consistency, and an experience rooted in authenticity.

Looking Ahead

We’ve heard about their newer location in Green Valley, and while we haven’t made it out there just yet, there’s a good chance it’s next on the list.

Because after this visit, one thing is clear—Settebello isn’t just a place you pass by anymore. It’s a place you plan to return to.

Whether you’re stopping in for a casual lunch, meeting friends for drinks, or setting the tone for a night out, this is one of those spots that quietly earns its place in your rotation—and keeps you coming back for more.
